The title says it all. I mean, seriously, why? It's so unfair. The cramps, the pain, the crankiness... blah, blah, blah. Worse yet, the whole world seems to be turned against you or you're getting super emotional. I mean, what's up with that? Yeah, I get the scientific reason (or whatever you call it). I went to school. But why!!!???
Alright, let's admit it. We're all pretty pathetic when our "Time of the Month" comes. Seriously? Crying over a cute little bunny? Yelling at someone because they moved our make up just a tiny bit? We're all sappy, cranky and just plain annoying. At least we've got a good reason....
Hormones! It's not just the Y chromosome population that have hormones. All they get is a horny mind (some of them do anyway). Why do (most of us) get cramps? I'm sure most of you have thought that at least once in your life time.
Remember those good old days, when we hadn't gone through puberty yet. Yup... way before we got cramps. Just playing with those dolls and trying on our mom's make up. But then we had to grow boobs... Ah well. Gone are those carefree days.
Don't get me wrong, finally getting a growth spurt is wonderful. Amazing! It's a wonderful feeling when you're short. But it's a package deal. You've got to accept the bad parts of it too.
But I'm just going to say one more thing:
If women get periods every month, men should get kicked in the nuts every month.
